This English translation is provided for convenience; the Turkish version prevails legally.

You can get a refund for credits you didn’t use within 14 days of purchase, and return an entirely unused package for a full refund in the first 24 hours — this is a voluntary assurance we offer beyond the statutory minimum. This policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use and applies alongside the pre-contractual information shown at the time of purchase. Any consumer rights granted to you that cannot be limited by contract are reserved.

General Principle and Legal Basis

Dahwo is a digital service performed instantly in an electronic environment. Credits become usable the moment they are purchased, and each generation is performed instantly.

Pursuant to Article 48 of Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and Article 15, first paragraph, subparagraph (ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation:

"Contracts concerning services performed instantly in an electronic environment, or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer" are among the exceptions to the right of withdrawal. In such contracts, once performance has begun with the consumer’s consent, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.

In other words: once you have consented to immediate performance, your statutory right of withdrawal ends — even if you have not yet started spending credits. Nonetheless, we offer the voluntary refund options below, which go beyond the statutory minimum.

Waiver of the Right of Withdrawal

At purchase, you must tick the box "I expressly request that performance of the Service begin immediately, and I acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal." No payment is taken without this express consent.

This consent is the legal condition for the right of withdrawal becoming unavailable under Article 15/1(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation (the equivalent for EU consumers being Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU — prior express consent to immediate performance plus acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost).

If you wish to preserve your right of withdrawal, do not complete the purchase before giving this consent; for a purchase where performance has not yet begun, you may make a request at destek@dahwo.com.

Purchases via the Shopier storefront: the storefront listing page cannot technically present this checkbox; instead, the pre-contractual information in the listing description clearly states that the service is performed immediately after payment and that the right of withdrawal ends under Art. 15/1(ğ) once the credits are loaded to your account. A storefront purchase is processed as a request for immediate performance within the scope of that information. If you contact destek@dahwo.com before the credits are loaded to your account, your payment is refunded in full.

Pre-contractual Information

Before purchase you are given, in summary, the essential characteristics of the service, the credit/package contents, the total VAT-inclusive price, the payment and performance method, the operator’s identifying details, the fact that the right of withdrawal does not apply to this service, and the complaint channels. By approving this policy and the Terms of Use, you confirm that you have received this pre-contractual information.

Expiry of the Plan Term (Not a Withdrawal)

Package purchases are not a subscription and do not renew automatically. What happens at the end of the term is not a "withdrawal" or "cancellation" but simply the expiry of the usage period you purchased.

  • Your access continues throughout the 30-day package term.
  • When the term ends, your unused package credits reset.
  • Your top-up credits are not lost; they are preserved, added to your balance on your next package purchase, and every top-up purchase extends the usage window of your balance to at least 30 days from that purchase.
  • To use the service again, you make a new manual purchase.
  • As there is no subscription, there is no "cancel" action — simply not buying a new package is enough.

Important: A payment made before the term ends is not refunded; you have the right to use in full the term and credits you purchased.

Credit-Package (Top-up) Refund Policy

Even though the right of withdrawal does not apply to this service, we offer you a voluntary refund assurance extending to 14 days, beyond the statutory minimum. The conditions are as follows:

  • Entirely unused package: full refund if requested within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Partially used package: if requested within 14 days of purchase, a refund is made in proportion to that purchase’s unused credits; the used portion is not refunded (e.g. in a 50-credit package where 10 credits were used, a refund at a 40/50 ratio). The refund amount cannot exceed the price you paid for that purchase or the number of that package’s still-unused credits; promotional/gift/Trial credits are excluded from this calculation. No proportional refund applies after 14 days.
  • Promotional/gift credits and expired package credits are outside the scope of refunds.
  • This voluntary refund does not apply to fully used packages older than 24 hours.

As a single usable balance is kept, for refunds credits are deemed consumed oldest-purchase-first (time-ordered set-off); a purchase's "unused credits" are limited to the balance remaining after its date that is not accounted for by a more recent purchase. Promotional/gift/Trial credits are excluded from this calculation.

This policy does not limit your statutory rights in cases of defective service or technical malfunction, which are addressed separately below.

Account deletion creates no refund right: if you delete your account, any active package terminates and ALL remaining credits are voided. Refund claims must be raised before deletion and only for unused credits under the conditions of this policy; no refund is made for used credits or for credits voided by deletion.

Failed Generation and Automatic Credit Refund

If a generation cannot be completed for a technical reason, the credits used are automatically returned to your account. Our system is designed to restore credits on any failure that occurs after a charge.

  • The Service could not produce an output due to a technical error,
  • The system deducted credits by mistake or in duplicate,
  • Payment was taken but generation did not start,

the relevant credits are usually refunded instantly or within 24 hours. If the automatic refund does not occur, write to destek@dahwo.com and your request will be reviewed.

Subjective dissatisfaction with AI-output quality is not, by itself, a ground for a refund. A difference in artistic/aesthetic preference does not warrant a credit refund where the output was technically produced successfully. However, if an output does not meet the essential characteristics you requested and this can be verified, the defective-service provisions below apply.

Defective Service and Technical Issues

Where the Service lacks the qualities provided for in the contract, the defective-service provisions of Law No. 6502 apply. Depending on the circumstances, you have elective rights such as re-performance (re-generation), a refund of your credits, or a proportionate reduction.

Please send defective-service claims to destek@dahwo.com, with a screenshot/sample output where possible. Your request will be assessed within a reasonable time and a resolution proposed.

Fraud or Abuse

No refund is made to accounts on which payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or a breach of the Terms of Use is detected; the account may be closed and existing credits/packages invalidated. This does not affect our right to pursue legal remedies for unlawful acts.

For chargebacks raised after credits have been spent, the service fee corresponding to the consumed credits becomes a debt owed by you; Dahwo reserves its rights to void the related credit grant, to set off and collect that amount, and to close the account.

Refund Method and Timing

Credit refunds are reflected in your credit balance. Cash (monetary) refunds are made through the original payment method (to the relevant card via Shopier).

You must submit your refund request within the 14-day request window from purchase (see Section 05). Once a request made within that window is approved, the monetary refund is initiated within 14 days at the latest, counted from the approval date. These two periods are independent: the first is your window to submit the request; the second is the time to process an approved refund into payment. The time for the amount to appear on your card/account may take additional time depending on your bank and payment-provider processes.

Consumer Complaint Channels

Please contact us first at destek@dahwo.com; we aim to resolve requests quickly and amicably.

If a resolution cannot be reached, you may, as a consumer, use the statutory channels: the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) at your place of residence or where the transaction took place, within the applicable monetary limits, and the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi) above those limits. Consumers habitually resident in the EU may rely on the mandatory consumer protections of their country and the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
