01

What Is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device through your browser when you visit a website. They let a site remember you, keep your session open, and make core features work.

This policy explains which cookies and similar local-storage technologies the Dahwo platform (dahwo.com) uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage them. For general information on how your personal data is processed, please see our Privacy Policy and KVKK Disclosure.

Dahwo uses strictly-necessary cookies only. We use no analytics, marketing, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we embed no third-party trackers on our pages.
02

Cookies We Use

All of the cookies below are strictly necessary — they are essential to deliver the service you request (signing in, browsing securely, your "remember me" choice). All are first-party cookies.

Cookie NameTypePurposeDurationConsent Required?
sb-… (e.g. sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token)Strictly necessaryUser authentication and session management (Supabase). Lets you sign in and keeps your session securely open.Session / token lifetimeNo
dahwo-auth-rememberStrictly necessaryYour "remember me" choice — whether the session persists or ends when the browser closes.1 year or session, per your choiceNo
dahwo-auth-policyStrictly necessaryMarks the applied version of the "remember me" policy.1 yearNo
dahwo-recoveryStrictly necessaryTemporary state flag during the password reset/recovery flow.SessionNo

Supabase cookie names vary because they include the project identifier; they all begin with the sb- prefix.

Under the Turkish Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on Cookie Practices (June 2022) — and consistent with the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR — cookies that are strictly necessary for a service the user has requested do not require consent. Because our site sets only such cookies, we are not legally required to display a cookie-consent banner.
03

Local Storage (localStorage)

Beyond cookies, we use your browser’s local storage (localStorage) for limited, functional purposes. Local storage is not a cookie; it is never sent to the server automatically and stays on your own device.

dahwo:batch:…Stores the progress of a batch (bulk) generation run so you can resume where you left off if your tab closes or the page reloads.
dahwo_pending_…Temporary markers that let a long-running generation re-attach to its result even if the connection drops or you leave the page.

These entries are cleared once the job completes, and you can always remove them by clearing your browser’s site data.

04

Third-Party Cookies

No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are embedded on our pages. Third parties may set their own cookies, on their own domains, only when you explicitly start one of the following actions:

  • Sign in with Google: Only if you choose to sign in with a Google account, the sign-in takes place on Google’s domain and Google sets its own cookies. These cookies are subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Pay with Shopier: When you purchase a package, payment is completed on Shopier’s own pages and Shopier may set its own cookies. These cookies are subject to Shopier’s privacy policy: shopier.com/gizlilik-politikasi

We have no control over these third parties’ cookie practices; we recommend reviewing the relevant service’s own policies.

05

Managing and Deleting Cookies

Because we use strictly-necessary cookies only, there is no cookie-preference setting to configure on our site. You can nevertheless manage or delete all cookies at any time through your browser:

  • View and delete existing cookies from your browser settings.
  • Configure your browser to block cookies or to ask each time.
  • Clear site data (cookies + local storage) to remove all of the entries listed above.

If you block strictly-necessary cookies, sign-in and the platform’s core features may not work.
